Yikes! Another down day for the DOW. As I write this, the DOW is down 376 pts. Many gold and silver stocks are getting a hair cut today as well, including the junior mining stocks. I am writing this post for those of you who are about to loose your head along with your shirt today. I wrote about similar times like this in my article, Are Gold and Silver Stuck in a Rut?.

Be greedy when others are fearful, and be fearful when others are greedy..-Warren Buffet.

First of all, understand that we are living in very uncertain times. The stock market has become very, very volatile. In times like this you have to keep your head and remember your investment principles. I generally get a bit excited on these kind of days, as it gives me a chance to pick up some real bargains! I picked up some more Petaquilla Minerals shares today at a very nice discount. It is good to keep some money set aside for days just like today! There were many other bargains to be had as well.

Just remember the gold bull market is still in tact. All the fundamentals are still there. Until this changes, there is no need to panic and lose your head like the rest of the market is doing right now.  Buy on dips to dollar cost average down on your core positions.
